We stayed here for 3 nights. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. Nothing was too much to ask for from filling up our bottles most days to placing ice cream in the fridge. The hotel was clean friendly and the pool was a little gem. I would say relaxed and perfect. I really enjoyed my stay here for a 3 star this hotel was an example of great cleanliness friendly staff and overall good service. I would not say anything was bad. Great location good to visit Portsmouth like we did. Next time will prob stay longer then 3. Breakfast was outstanding to the fried choice and then the fresh quality fruit or small pastries. Decaff was cool I had a big cafe tiere each breakfast. Just over all great choice!
Stayed there during work for a week, the staff were really helpful and the room clean and tidy. I ordered room service 3 times and although a little pricey it was convenient after a long day at work. The breakfast is great with a good selection. They also have a bar that serves the same food the restaurant does, if you want a less formal setting. The spotlights in the room were quite bright I couldn’t have them on as reading lights so I went to dunhelm across the road and bought a little lamp for the week, and a small fan as it was so hot in the room. The only real complaint is a sewage smell from the newly renovated bathroom in Room 124, i couldn’t have the door open all week and on an evening it was pretty strong. It looked like a little leakage from the seal where the toilet was fitted on the floor.
Spent a 4 day Christmas break, it was brilliant. The food was out of this world and so much of it, they just kept it coming. The meal service was excellent, what I did notice each table, I was on a table of 9, we were all served at the same time. Considering each member of staff had given up their Christmas, I take my hat off to you all well done Chichester park. Good facilities as well. X
The staff was really nice and helpful. We stayed for a weekend and the whole team was hospitable. Dean and his dad were very kind to us considering we were a big family group. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. I will recommend to others and would definitely visit again. Nice cozy place.
Stayed for 3 nights, the rooms were nice, clean and have all you need in them. All the staff were very approachable. I have a dairy allergy and the catering staff we fantastic they went out of their way to cater for my needs, and cooked things separately or made something different for me, the meals were lovely. I’d like to thank them for going to so much trouble as I usually have trouble eating out. Very happy with my stay *****
From arriving for the Easter weekend to booking out, the service we received was excellent. The staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection. We had a birthday celebration in the function room and once again the food for the buffet couldn't be faulted. Stayed there before and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Chichester Park Hotel.
Were only staying for a night as was invited to evening wedding reception. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is zero fans in the room. Yes you are told in confirmation email that you can take one. But we both thought (as did the wedding party) that it wouldn't be that bad. It was so stuffy, even with the windows open. So if you stay, take your own fan! Breakfast was a good cooked breakfast. Help yourself, all good, all hot. Staff on arrival and leaving lovely. The room we stayed in was ground floor and the bed was huge! Lovely. If you're staying there I think it's probably about 35 minute walk into main Chichester. But they do have taxi numbers in reception.
I went there last week for a Sunday lunch with a group of over fifty. We were seated in one of the big event rooms and it was very nicely decorated. The tables had big flower displays in the centre . On arrival parking was easy and close to the entrance. It has a lovely reception area , soft chairs and very airy. We felt very welcome. There was a small bar attached to the main dining room but only a small queue and the bar staff were very helpful. All staff were very helpful in fact . The meal was excellent. The first course was enough , sometimes starters are not enough , but these were perfect. The main course had plenty of meat , the vegetables were plentiful and cooked perfectly. After the sweet course the coffee was lovely . Sometimes it's an afterthought and tasteless but this coffee was excellent. All in all a thoroughly good experience . I would recommend it .
